स काशिराजं समरे सुबन्धम अनिवर्तिनम वशे चक्रे महाबाहुर भीमॊ भीमपराक्रमः ।। २-२७-६ ।।

sanskrit

'Then Bhima, renowned for his formidable prowess and long arms, defeated the resolute King Suvahu of Kashi in battle and brought him completely under his control.' ।। 2-27-6 ।।

'And the long-armed hero, having left that land, next conquered Madahara, Mahidara, and the Somadheyas, and then turned his attention northward. By sheer force, the mighty son of Kunti subjugated the land of Vatsabhumi, the king of the Bhargas, the ruler of the Nishadas, Manimat, and many other kings.' ।। 2-27-9 ।।

nivRtya ca mahAbAhura madarvIkaM mahIdharama sòpadezaM vinirjitya parayayAva uttarA mukhaH vatsabhUmiM ca kaunteyò vijigye balavAna balAta || 2-27-9 ||
