सुमहान संनिपातॊ ऽभूद धनंजय बृहन्तयॊः न शशाक बृहन्तस तु सॊढुं पाण्डव विक्रमम ॥ २-२४-७ ॥
'The conflict between Vrihanta and Dhananjaya was fierce, as Vrihanta could not withstand the might of the son of Pandu.' ॥ 2-24-7 ॥

sumahAna saMnipAtò 'bhUda dhanaMjaya bRhantayòH na zazAka bRhantasa tu sòDhuM pANDava vikramama ॥ 2-24-7 ॥
