ततः काश्मीरकान वीरान कषत्रियान कषत्रियर्षभः वयजयल लॊहितं चैव मण्डलैर दशभिः सह ॥ २-२४-१६ ॥
'The mighty warrior of the Kshatriya lineage, Arjuna, defeated the brave Kshatriyas of Kashmir and King Lohita, along with ten other minor chiefs.' ॥ 2-24-16 ॥

ततस तरिगर्तान कौन्तेयॊ दार्वान कॊक नदाश च ये कषत्रिया बहवॊ राजन्न उपावर्तन्त सर्वशः ॥ २-२४-१७ ॥
'Then the Trigartas, Daravas, Kokonadas, and numerous other Kshatriyas, O king, marched against the son of Pandu.' ॥ 2-24-17 ॥

अभिसारीं ततॊ रम्यां विजिग्ये कुरुनन्दनः उरगावासिनं चैव रॊचमानं रणे ऽजयत ॥ २-२४-१८ ॥
'The prince of the Kuru lineage subsequently captured the delightful town of Avisari and brought Rochamana, ruler of Uraga, under his control.' ॥ 2-24-18 ॥

ततः सिंहपुरं रम्यं चित्रायुधसुरक्षितम परामथद बलम आस्थाय पाकशासनिर आहवे ॥ २-२४-१९ ॥
'Then the son of Indra (Arjuna), putting forth his might, pressed the delightful town of Singhapura that was well-protected with various weapons.' ॥ 2-24-19 ॥

ततः सुह्मांश च चॊलांश च किरीटी पाण्डवर्षभः सहितः सर्वसैन्येन परामथत कुरुनन्दनः ॥ २-२४-२० ॥
'Then Arjuna, the mighty son of Pandu, led his troops into fierce attacks on the regions of Suhma and Sumala.' ॥ 2-24-20 ॥
