'Following Yudhishthira's command, O monarch, Arjuna remained stationed in the city of Senavindu and sent his troops only, bringing these five countries and peoples under his rule.' ॥ 2-24-11 ॥

स दिवः परस्थम आसाद्य सेना बिन्दॊः पुरं महत बलेन चतुरङ्गेण निवेशम अकरॊत परभुः ॥ २-२४-१२ ॥
'Upon reaching Devaprastha, the city of Senavindu, Arjuna established his camp with his army composed of four divisions.' ॥ 2-24-12 ॥

स तैः परिवृतः सर्वैर विष्वग अश्वं नराधिपम अभ्यगच्छन महातेजाः पौरवं पुरुषर्षभः ॥ २-२४-१३ ॥
'Upon reaching Devaprastha, the city of Senavindu, Arjuna established his camp with his army composed of four divisions. Surrounded by the kings and peoples he had conquered, the hero then marched against King Viswagaswa, the illustrious descendant of Puru.' ॥ 2-24-13 ॥

'After defeating the courageous mountain warriors, renowned for their valor, the son of Pandu, O king, then occupied the town protected by the Puru king with the assistance of his troops.' ॥ 2-24-14 ॥

पौरवं तु विनिर्जित्य दस्यून पर्वतवासिनः गणान उत्सव संकेतान अजयत सप्त पाण्डवः ॥ २-२४-१५ ॥
'After defeating the Puru king and the mountain-dwelling robber tribes in battle, the son of Pandu brought under his control the seven tribes known as Utsava-sanketa.' ॥ 2-24-15 ॥
