मॊदा पुरं वामदेवं सुदामानं सुसंकुलम कुलूतान उत्तरांश चैव तांश च राज्ञः समानयत ॥ २-२४-१० ॥
'He brought joy to the city of Vamadeva and to Sudaman, both flourishing, as well as to the northern regions and the subjects of the king.' ॥ 2-24-10 ॥

mòdA puraM vAmadevaM sudAmAnaM susaMkulama kulUtAna uttarAMza caiva tAMza ca rAjJaH samAnayata ॥ 2-24-10 ॥
