सवस्ति वाच्यार्हतॊ विप्रान परयाहि भरतर्षभ दुर्हृदाम अप्रहर्षाय सुहृदां नन्दनाय च विजयस ते धरुवं पार्थ परियं कामम अवाप्नुहि ।। २-२३-६ ।।

'O bull of the Bharata race, departs after receiving blessings from holy Brahmanas, to bring sorrow to your enemies and joy to your friends. Victory will surely be yours, O son of Pritha, and your desires will surely be fulfilled.' ।। 2-23-6 ।।

savasti vAcyArhatò viprAna parayAhi bharatarSabha durhRdAma apraharSAya suhRdAM nandanAya ca vijayasa te dharuvaM pArtha pariyaM kAmama avApnuhi || 2-23-6 ||

इत्य उक्तः परययौ पार्थः सैन्येन महता वृतः अग्निदत्तेन दिव्येन रथेनाद्भुतकर्मणा ।। २-२३-७ ।।

'Thus addressed, Arjuna, surrounded by a vast host, departed in that celestial chariot of remarkable prowess obtained from Agni.' ।। 2-23-7 ।।

दिशं धनपतेर इष्टाम अजयत पाकशासनिः भीमसेनस तथा पराचीं सहदेवस तु दक्षिणाम ।। २-२३-९ ।।

'Arjuna, the son of the vanquisher of Paka, subdued the northern direction under the dominion of the Lord of treasures. Bhimasena forcefully conquered the East, Sahadeva the South, and Nakula, skilled in all weapons, triumphed over the West.' ।। 2-23-9 ।।

'While his brothers were thus occupied, the noble king Yudhishthira the just remained in Khandavaprastha, enjoying great prosperity amidst friends and relatives.' ।। 2-23-10 ।।
