तत्र राजा महान आसीद भगदत्तॊ विशां पते तेनासीत सुमहद युद्धं पाण्डवस्य महात्मनः ॥ २-२३-१८ ॥
'There was a great king there, Bhagadatta, O Lord of the people. With him, there was a mighty battle of the great-souled Pandava.' ॥ 2-23-18 ॥

tatra rAjA mahAna AsIda bhagadattò vizAM pate tenAsIta sumahada yuddhaM pANDavasya mahAtmanaH ॥ 2-23-18 ॥
