अद्वारेण रिपॊर गेहं दवारेण सुहृदॊ गृहम परविशन्ति सदा सन्तॊ दवारं नॊ वर्जितं ततः ।। २-१९-४९ ।।

sanskrit

'The creator has infused his own vigor into the purpose of the Kshatriya. If you wish to witness it, you shall surely see it today. These are the principles of our tradition: to enter an enemy's dwelling through the wrong gate and a friend's through the right one.' ।। 2-19-49 ।।

english translation

advAreNa ripòra gehaM davAreNa suhRdò gRhama paravizanti sadA santò davAraM nò varjitaM tataH || 2-19-49 ||
