दरव्यभूता गुणाः सर्वे तिष्ठन्ति हि पराक्रमे जयस्य हेतुः सिद्धिर हि कर्म दैवं च संश्रितम ।। २-१५-११ ।।
'However, one who lacks valor, even if endowed with every other virtue, can hardly achieve anything. Every virtue exists in a potential state alongside valor.' ।। 2-15-11 ।।
'Concentration of attention, effort, and destiny are the three causes of victory. Yet, even one endowed with valor does not deserve success if they act carelessly.' ।। 2-15-12 ।।
'Hence, sometimes an enemy, despite their strength, meets death at the hands of their adversaries. Just as weakness leads to defeat for the feeble, so too can foolishness overcome the strong. A king, therefore, that is desirous of victory, should avoid both these causes of destruction.' ।। 2-15-13 ।।
'O King, if we do not act, there would certainly be a determination of demerit. How can you consider inaction when there are undoubted merits [in acting]?' ।। 2-15-15 ।।
