शरैष्ठ्यं पराप्तः स तस्यासीद अतीवापनयॊ महान भॊजराजन्य वृद्धैस तु पीड्यमानैर दुरात्मना ॥ २-१३-३१ ॥
'However, this behavior brought him great disgrace. The wretch began to oppress the elderly kings of the Bhoja tribe, prompting them to seek our assistance for protection from their own relative's persecution.' ॥ 2-13-31 ॥

जञातित्राणम अभीप्सद्भिर अस्मत संभावना कृता दत्त्वाक्रूराय सुतनुं ताम आहुक सुतां तदा ॥ २-१३-३२ ॥
'Desiring to protect their relatives, they considered us, And then gave their beautiful daughter to Akrura.' ॥ 2-13-32 ॥

संकर्षण दवितीयेन जञातिकार्यं मया कृतम हतौ कंस सुनामानौ मया रामेण चाप्य उत ॥ २-१३-३३ ॥
'I bestowed Ahuka's beautiful daughter upon Akrura, and with Sankarshana by my side, I rendered a service to my relatives. With Rama's assistance, both Kansa and Sunaman were slain by me.' ॥ 2-13-33 ॥
