जरासंधं गतस तव एवं पुरा यॊ न मया हतः पुरुषॊत्तम विज्ञातॊ यॊ ऽसौ चेदिषु दुर्मतिः ॥ २-१३-१७ ॥
'The wicked ruler among the Chedis, whom I did not slay in the past, falsely represented himself in this world as a divine figure, known as Paundraka Vasudeva.' ॥ 2-13-17 ॥
english translation
jarAsaMdhaM gatasa tava evaM purA yò na mayA hataH puruSòttama vijJAtò yò 'sau cediSu durmatiH ॥ 2-13-17 ॥
