संवत्सराः पञ्च युगम अहॊरात्राश चतुर्विधा कालचक्रं च यद दिव्यं नित्यम अक्षयम अव्ययम ॥ २-११-२८ ॥
'Years, yugas, the four types of days and nights (perceived by humans, ancestors, gods, and Brahma), and the eternal, indestructible, unchanging, excellent Wheel of Time, as well as the Wheel of Virtue, all perpetually reside there.' ॥ 2-11-28 ॥
