चरन मानुषरूपेण सभां दृष्ट्वा सवयं भुवः सभाम अकथयन मह्यं बराह्मीं तत्त्वेन पाण्डव ॥ २-११-२ ॥
'Having previously seen the assembly house of Brahma, the Self-created, Aditya cheerfully wandered over the Earth in human form, eager to witness all that could be seen here. It was on that occasion, O son of Pandu, that the god of the day spoke to me;' ॥ 2-11-2 ॥
english translation
carana mAnuSarUpeNa sabhAM dRSTvA savayaM bhuvaH sabhAma akathayana mahyaM barAhmIM tattvena pANDava ॥ 2-11-2 ॥
