तस्यां वैश्रवणॊ राजा विचित्राभरणाम्बरः सत्रीसहस्रावृतः शरीमान आस्ते जवलितकुण्डलः ॥ २-१०-५ ॥

'Within that mansion, on an excellent seat as bright as the sun and covered with celestial carpets, furnished with a handsome footstool, sits King Vaiśravaṇa. Of agreeable presence, he is attired in exquisite robes and adorned with costly ornaments and brilliant earrings, surrounded by his thousand wives.' ॥ 2-10-5 ॥
