एषा मया संपतता वारुणी भरतर्षभ दृष्टपूर्वा सभा रम्या कुबेरस्य सभां शृणु ॥ २-१०-१ ॥
'Nārada said, "O King, the assembly house of Vaiśravaṇa, resplendent with great splendor, stretches a hundred yojanas in length and seventy yojanas in breadth."' ॥ 2-10-1 ॥
english translation
eSA mayA saMpatatA vAruNI bharatarSabha dRSTapUrvA sabhA ramyA kuberasya sabhAM zRNu ॥ 2-10-1 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतपसा निर्मिता राजन सवयं वैश्रवणेन सा शशिप्रभा खेचरीणां कैलासशिखरॊपमा ॥ २-१०-२ ॥
'It was constructed, O King, by Vaiśravaṇa himself through his ascetic power. Possessing the splendor of the peaks of Kailāsa, that mansion outshines even the brilliance of the Moon.' ॥ 2-10-2 ॥

tapasA nirmitA rAjana savayaM vaizravaNena sA zaziprabhA khecarINAM kailAsazikharòpamA ॥ 2-10-2 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptगुह्यकैर उह्यमाना सा खे विषक्तेव दृश्यते दिव्या हेममयैर उच्चैः पादपैर उपशॊभिता ॥ २-१०-३ ॥
'Carried by the Guhyakas, it appears to be suspended in the sky. Adorned with tall, divine trees made of gold, it shines brilliantly.' ॥ 2-10-3 ॥

guhyakaira uhyamAnA sA khe viSakteva dRzyate divyA hemamayaira uccaiH pAdapaira upazòbhitA ॥ 2-10-3 ॥

'Radiant and luminous, with divine fragrance and pleasing to the mind, it appears like the peak of a white cloud, seemingly floating in the air.' ॥ 2-10-4 ॥

razmivatI bhAsvarA ca divyagandhA manòramA sitAbhrazikharAkArA palavamAneva dRzyate ॥ 2-10-4 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतस्यां वैश्रवणॊ राजा विचित्राभरणाम्बरः सत्रीसहस्रावृतः शरीमान आस्ते जवलितकुण्डलः ॥ २-१०-५ ॥
'Within that mansion, on an excellent seat as bright as the sun and covered with celestial carpets, furnished with a handsome footstool, sits King Vaiśravaṇa. Of agreeable presence, he is attired in exquisite robes and adorned with costly ornaments and brilliant earrings, surrounded by his thousand wives.' ॥ 2-10-5 ॥
