यत्राभिगमनेऽर्थो भविष्यति न वेत्याशङ्का सक्तोऽपि सङ्घर्षाद्दास्यति न वेति स उभयतोऽर्थसंशयः ।। ३४ ।।
When there is some doubt since she does not know whether, in sleeping with another man, she will obtain money, nor whether her steady lover will give her something for living with her, a financial doubt exists in both cases.
english translation
उभयतः अर्थसंशय जिस समागम में अर्थ प्राप्त होगा या नहीं' ? यह शंका हो और अनुरक्त नायक भी संघर्ष के कारण देगा या नहीं-यह संशय हो तो इसे 'उभयतः अर्थसंशय' कहा जाता है ।। ३४ ।।
