नायकस्य सन्तताभ्यासात् परिश्रममुपलभ्य रागस्य चानुपशमम्, अनुमता तेन तमधोऽवपात्य पुरुषायितेन साहाय्यं दद्यात् ॥ १॥
When the boy, wearied after his uninterrupted sexual exercises, seeks rest and is no longer dominated by passion, with his agreement, the girl descends to his anus [adhah] and, with the aid of an accessory [sahayya], imposes her virile behavior on him.

विपरीत रति के कारण — निरन्तर मैथुन करते हुए जब पुरुष शिथिल हो जाये, किन्तु रमणेच्छा शान्त न हो, तो पुरुष को अनुमति से स्त्री उसके ऊपर आकर विपरीत रति द्वारा उसे मैथुन में सहायता प्रदान करे ॥ १ ॥

स्वाभिप्रायाद्वा विकल्पयोजनार्थिनी ॥ २ ॥
Whatever his intentions may be, she is decided on practicing this fictitious intercourse.

अथवा अपनी रमपेच्छा को सरलता और शीघ्रता से शान्त करने के लिये भी स्त्री विपरीत रति कर सकती है॥ २ ॥

तत्र युक्तयन्त्रेणैवेत्तरेणोत्थाप्यमाना तमधः पातयेत्। एवं च रतमविच्छिन्नरसं तथा प्रवृत्तमेव स्यात् । इत्येकोऽयं मार्गः ॥ ४ ॥
She is determined to unite him with the instrument that she is inserting into his anus, so that he gets the taste [rasa] for one pleasure [rata] after another. This is one of the ways of proceeding.

विपरीत रति : प्रथम रीति- समागम करते हुए पुरुष यन्त्र किये हुए हो स्वी को बाहुपाश में भरकर ऊपर ले आये और स्त्री भी उसे नीचे करके स्वयं समागम करने लगे। ऐसा करने से समागम के सुख में कोई अन्तर नहीं आता, अर्थात् उसका नैरन्तर्य बना रहता है- यह विपरीत रति की प्रथम रीति है ॥ ४ ॥

पुनरारम्भेणादित एवोपक्रमेत् । इति द्वितीयः ॥ ५ ॥
The second way consists of taking him by surprise.
