पानविधि - इन गोष्ठियों में वेश्याएँ मधु, मैरेय, सुरा और आसव आदि मद्यों को, पान की रुचि जगाने वाले विविध प्रकार के नमकीन, फल, हरे शाक, तिक्त, कडुए और खट्टे भक्ष्यों के साथ नागरकों को पिलाएँ, बाद में स्वयं भी पियें ॥ २३ ॥

पूर्वाह्न एव स्वलंकृतास्तुरगाधिरूढा वेश्याभिः सह परिचारकानुगता गच्छेयुः । दैवसिकीं च यात्रां तत्रानुभूय कुक्कुटयुद्धद्यूतैः प्रेक्षाभिरनुकूलैश्च चेष्टितैः कालं गमयित्वा अपराह्णे गृहीततदुद्यानोपभोगचिह्नास्तथैव प्रत्याव्रजेयुः ॥ २५ ॥
The country party [udyanayatra] Early in the morning, after dressing and putting on one's jewels, one would mount on horseback and, taking servants and accompanied by whores, leave for the country, not too far - -so as to be able to return in the evening. Having arrived at the spot, the time was spent watching cockfights, playing dice, watching the dancing, and doing exercises. Then, in the evening, one would return home, bringing bunches of flowers and green branches as a souvenir of the pleasures of the party in the country.

उद्यानविहार- प्रातः काल ही वस्त्राभूषणों से सवित तथा घोड़े पर सवार होकर वेश्याओं और सेवकों के साथ उद्यान बिहार के लिए जाना चाहिये। यह विहार दिन-भर का होना चाहिये। यहाँ कुकुटयुद्ध, यूतक्रीड़ा, नृत्य गीत सङ्गीत का आनन्द, शृङ्गारिक हास- परिहास आदि में समय बिताकर अपराह्नकाल में उद्यानविहार के स्मृतिचिह्नों (फल, फूल, स्तवक आदि) को लेकर उसी प्रकार वापस लौट आना चाहिये ॥ २५॥
