पत्रच्छेद्यानि नानाभिप्रायाकृतीनि दर्शयेत्। लेखपत्नगर्भाणि कर्णपत्त्राण्यापीडांश्च ।। ३९ ।।

पत्रों पर अनेक प्रकार की अभिप्रायबोधक आकृतियाँ बनाये। कर्णपत्र और आपीड़ (माला) भी इस प्रकार बनाये कि उनके अन्दर प्रेमपत्र छिपाकर रखा जा सके ॥ ३९ ॥
