तदपत्येष्वविशेषः । परिजनवर्गेऽधिकानुकम्पा । मित्रवर्गे प्रीतिः । आत्मज्ञातिषु नात्यादरः । तज्ज्ञातिषु चातिसम्भ्रमः ॥ ७ ॥
She is very affectionate with the other's children, amiable with the members of her family, pleasant with her friends. She is full of attention for the other's kin, without showing any preference for her own.

सन्तति, परिजन एवं पुरजनों से प्रेम-कनिष्ठा के बच्चों से अत्यधिक प्रेम करे, उसके परिजनों (सेवकों) पर अनुग्रह रखे, उसकी सखियों से प्रीति रखे और उसके भाई-भतीजों को अपनों से अधिक आदर दे ॥ ७ ॥

कलह की योजना – पति जिस (नवप्रिया ) पत्नी को अब सर्वाधिक प्रेम करता हो, उसके साथ उस (पूर्वप्रिया ) पत्नी को भड़काकर लड़वा दे जिसे पति पहले सर्वाधिक प्रेम करता था ॥ ९ ॥
