मन्ददशायां चन्द्रे प्रविशति मातृक्षयो मनोदुःखम्॥ भग्नोत्साही चपलो बन्धुक्लेशान्वितो दयाहीनः॥४६॥
During the Moon's Bhukti of Saturn's Dasa, the person's mother will pass away and thus affliction to the mind will be caused; and his enthusiasm will be retarded; he will become fickle.minded. He will further feel sorrow for the sake of his relations owing to their distress; he will finally become devoid of pity.

In the Apahara of Mars in Saturn's Dasa, there will arise miseries through death and disease. Loss of one's position, of cattle and of wealth or even the demise of one's own son or wife will happen.

In Jupiter's Apahara of Saturn's Dasa, the person concerned will study poetry and acquire learning. He will get money from the king. He will be revered by many persons. He will enjoy all comforts, and will be over-enthusiastic.

In the Apahara of Venus in Saturn's Dasa, he will live with his wife and children and will have plenty of money at his command. He will be intent in doing virtuous acts. He will overpower his enemies. He will study the Vedas and ultimately become a great preceptor.
