दाराधिपांशक्षेत्रं दारजन्मर्क्षमं विदुः। तस्योच्चे निजराशौ वा केचिदिच्छन्ति तद्विदः॥५६॥
Note where the lord of the Navamsa occupied by the owner of the 7th house is posited. This Rasi will be the Janma Rasi of the wife. Some say that the planet's exaltation or Swakshetra may also denote the same.

dArAdhipAMzakSetraM dArajanmarkSamaM viduH। tasyocce nijarAzau vA kecidicchanti tadvidaH॥56॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतस्यां शकत्रिकोणे वा भार्याजन्मर्क्षभं वदेत्। लग्नेन्द्वोर्भाग्यभं जन्म वदन्ति मुनिसत्तमाः॥५७॥
The wife's Janma Rasi may also be anyone of the triangular houses with regard to that Navamsa. Some Sages declare that it is the 9th house counted from the Lagna or the Moon.

As mentioned above, a clever astrologer should guess the most suitable and probable one for the Janma Rasi of the wife.

If the Janma Rasi of the wife be some other than that what has been mentioned above, it means there will be no progeny. The ( number of ) benefic dots in the houses occupied by the lords of the 9th and 7th houses represent the number of females one will have.

The number will be treble in the case of Rasis and double in that of the Navamsa when these happen to own them. When Venus occupies a Navamsa of Saturn, is conjoined with Saturn or occupies a Rasi of Saturn -
