वपुः कृशत्वं वदने प्रसन्नता, नाद'स्फुटत्वं नयने च निर्मले I अरोगता बिन्दुजोऽग्निदीपनं, नाडीषु शुद्धि र्हठसिद्धिलक्षणम्॥१-५९॥
The signs of success in hathayoga are:- slimness of the body, cheerful face, hearing of the mystical sound, shining eyes, a sense of wellness, control over the bindu, increase in gastric fire and purification of the nadis.

हठयोग में सफलता के लक्षण हैं:- शरीर का पतला होना, प्रसन्न चेहरा, रहस्यमय ध्वनि सुनना, चमकती आंखें, स्वस्थता की भावना, बिंदु पर नियंत्रण, जठराग्नि में वृद्धि और नाड़ियों की शुद्धि।
