भ्रूमध्ये दृष्टिमात्रेण परः संकेत उच्यते । शिरः पाश्चात्य भागस्य ध्याने मृत्युंजयः परः ॥१-११॥
By gazing on the space between the eye-brows and then moving the head towards backside, and concentrating on Mrityunjaya (is called Laya).

भौहों के बीच के स्थान पर दृष्टि रखकर फिर सिर को पीछे की ओर ले जाकर मृत्युंजय पर ध्यान केन्द्रित करना (लय कहलाता है)।
