नेत्रान्तरं समालोक्य चात्मारामं निरीक्षयेत् । सा भवेच्छाम्भवीमुद्रा सर्वतन्त्रेषुगोपिता ॥३-७६॥
Looking between your eyebrows with both eyes and thinking about yourself is called Shambhavi Mudra. This mudra has been described as secret in all the scriptures.

दोनों नेत्रों से अपनी दोनों भौहों के बीच में देखते हुए मन द्वारा आत्म चिन्तन करने को शाम्भवी मुद्रा कहा गया है । सभी शास्त्रों में इस मुद्रा को गुप्त बताया गया है ।

अथ शाम्भवीमुद्रायाः फलकथनम् । वेदशास्त्रपुराणानि सामान्यगणिका इव । इयं तु शाम्भवी मुद्रा गुप्ता कुलवधूरिव ॥३-७७॥
In all the Vedas, Shastras and Puranas, Shambhavi Mudra is considered to be like a common courtesan (common prostitute). Which are easily available to everyone. Whereas Shambhavi Mudra is considered as confidential as the daughter-in-law of a good house.

सभी वेद, शास्त्र व पुराणों को शाम्भवी मुद्रा के सामने सामान्य गणिका ( साधारण वेश्या ) के समान माना है । जो सभी को आसानी से उपलब्ध हो जाती हैं । जबकि शाम्भवी मुद्रा को अच्छे घर की बहु के समान गोपनीय माना जाता है ।

स एव आदिनाथश्च स च नारायणः स्वयम् । स च ब्रह्मा सृष्टिकारी यो मुद्रां वेत्ति शाम्भवीम् ॥३-७८॥
The seeker who knows Shambhavi Mudra is Adinath i.e. Lord Shiva, he is the form of Narayana himself and he is like Brahma who created the universe.
english translation
जो साधक शाम्भवी मुद्रा को जानता है, वह आदिनाथ अर्थात् भगवान शिव है, वह स्वयं नारायण का रूप है और वही सृष्टि की रचना करने वाले ब्रह्मा के समान है ।

सत्यं सत्यं पुनः सत्यं सत्यमुक्तं महेश्वरः । शाम्भवीं यो विजानीयात्स च ब्रह्म न चाऽन्यथा ॥३-७९॥
Hey Maheshwar! Any seeker who knows this Shambhavi Mudra is Brahma in reality, not otherwise. This is absolutely true and correct.

हे महेश्वर! जो भी साधक इस शाम्भवी मुद्रा को जानता है वही साक्षात ब्रह्मा है, अन्यथा नहीं । यही पूर्ण रूप से सत्य और सत्य है ।

अथ पञ्चधारणामुद्राकथनम् । कथिता शाम्भवी मुद्रा शृणुष्व पञ्चधारणाम् । धारणानि समासाद्य किं न सिध्यति भूतले ॥३-८०॥
Thus Shambhavi Mudra has been described in the previous verse. Now listen to the description of Panch Dharana Mudra. After the seeker cultivates (achieves) these five concepts, nothing remains unattainable (which cannot be achieved) for him on this earth, that is, everything becomes possible for him.

इस प्रकार पिछले श्लोक में शाम्भवी मुद्रा का वर्णन किया गया है । अब पञ्च धारणा मुद्रा के वर्णन को सुनो । साधक द्वारा इन पंच धारणाओं को साधने ( प्राप्त करने से ) के बाद उसके लिए इस पृथ्वी पर कुछ भी अप्राप्य ( जिसको प्राप्त नहीं किया जा सकता ) नहीं रहता अर्थात् उसके लिए सब कुछ सम्भव होता है ।
