ग्राम्यानूपौदकं मांसं गुडं दधि पयस्तिलान्। कुष्ठी शोथी प्रमेही च स्नेहने न प्रयोजयेत् ॥९१॥
॥ Special precautions in skin disease, urinary diseases and swellings॥ For oleation of patients suffering from skin diseases, edema and diabetes, one should not use meat of animals either domesticated, or of marshy regions or those living in water. Jaggery, curd, milk and sesame seeds are also to be avoided.

grAmyAnUpaudakaM mAMsaM guDaM dadhi payastilAn। kuSThI zothI pramehI ca snehane na prayojayet ॥91॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस्नेहैर्यथार्हं तान् सिद्धैः स्नेहयेदविकारिभिः। पिप्पलीभिर्हरीतक्या सिद्धैस्त्रिफलयाऽपि वा ॥९२॥
They should be oleated as indicated, with oleation preparation made of articles preventive of all complications, as for instance, preparations made with long pepper, chebulic myrobalan or the three myrobalans.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptद्राक्षामलकयूषाभ्यां दध्ना चाम्लेन साधयेत्। व्योषगर्भं भिषक् स्नेहं पीत्वा स्निह्यति तं नरः ॥९३॥
The physician should prepare the oleation (sneha) with the decoction of grapes and emblic myrobalan mixed with sour curds and the pulp of the three spices; by taking this potion, a man gets oleated.

drAkSAmalakayUSAbhyAM dadhnA cAmlena sAdhayet। vyoSagarbhaM bhiSak snehaM pItvA snihyati taM naraH ॥93॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयवकोलकुलत्थानां रसाः क्षारः सुरा दधि। क्षीरसर्पिश्च तत् सिद्धं स्नेहनीयं घृतोत्तमम् ॥९४॥
Ghee extracted direct from milk and prepared with the soup of barley, indian jujube and horse-gram, alkali, Sura wine and curds is the best of all ghees to be used in oleation (sneha).

hk transliteration by Sanscriptतैलमज्जवसासर्पिर्बदरत्रिफलारसैः। योनिशुक्रप्रदोषेषु साधयित्वा प्रयोजयेत् ॥९५॥
Oil, marrow, animal fat and ghee prepared with the decoction of jujube and the three myrobalans should be prescribed in gynecic and seminal disorders.
