तत्र पूर्वरूपदर्शने ज्वरादौ वा हितं लघ्वशनमपतर्पणं वा, ज्वरस्यामाशयसमुत्थत्वात्;ततःकषायपानाभ्यङ्गस्नेहस्वेदप्रदेहपरिषेकानुलेपनवमनविरेचनास्थापनानुवासनोपशमननस्तःकर्म-धूपधूमपानाञ्जनक्षीरभोजनविधानं च यथास्वं युक्त्या प्रयोज्यम् ॥३६॥

In such a case, intake of kashaya (decoctions), massage, oleation (snehana), fomentation (swedana), thick ointment (pradeha), sprinkling (parisheka), anulepana (anointing with pastes), emesis, purgation, decoction and oily enema, pacification measures, nasal errhines, fumigation, medicated smoking, collyrium, medicated milk and a specific dietetic regimen should be indicated as per the condition.
