भक्तिः शीलं स्मृतिस्त्यागो बुद्धिर्बलमहेतुकम्। षडेतानि निवर्तन्ते षड्भिर्मासैर्मरिष्यतः ॥७॥
[Prognostic features of impending death and declining lifespan within six months] Sudden changes in likings, gentleness, memory, sacrifices, intellect and strength these six attributes in a person indicate the death within a time of six months.

धमनीनामपूर्वाणां जालमत्यर्थशोभनम्। ललाटे दृश्यते यस्य षण्मासान्न स जीवति ॥८॥
Sudden appearance of extremely shiny and prominent vasculature on fore head of an individual indicates that maximum life span of less than six months.

लेखाभिश्चन्द्रवक्राभिर्ललाटमुपचीयते। यस्य तस्यायुषः षड्भिर्मासैरन्तं समादिशेत् ॥९॥
