स्थिरप्रदेशौपलमन्दिरेषु सुरालये भूजलसन्निधौ च । स्थिराणि कार्याणि चराणि यानि चलप्रदेशऽदिषु चऽगमाय ॥ ९६-०४ ॥
Omens occurring in hard and firm places, in stone houses, in temples, in land and in waters are known as stable; and omens occurring on weak or moving objects are known as unstable—the latter omens point to gain.
