गमने कर्णसमश्चेत्क्षेमाय न कार्यसिद्धये भवति ॥ अभिमुखं उपैति यातुर्विरुवन्विनिवर्तयेद्यात्राम् ॥ ९५-२५ ॥
If the crow be seen to pass close to the ears of a person at the commencement of a journey, there will be good luck and the gain of a desired object; and if the crow be seen to come flying and cawing towards the traveller he will return from his journey.
