स्वात्याद्यं भत्रितयं मण्डलं एतच्चतुर्थं अभयकरम् । ब्रह्मक्षत्रसुभिक्षाभिवृद्धये मित्रभेदाय ॥ ९-१६ ॥
The three constellations from Svāti form the fourth maṇḍala; if Venus should reappear in it, mankind will be free from fear; the Brāhmins and Kṣatriyas will prosper and friends will turn into enemies.
english translation
svAtyAdyaM bhatritayaM maNDalaM etaccaturthaM abhayakaram । brahmakSatrasubhikSAbhivRddhaye mitrabhedAya ॥ 9-16 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअत्राक्रान्ते मृत्युः किरातभर्तुःपिनष्टि चैक्ष्वाकून् । प्रत्यन्तावन्तिपुलिन्दतङ्गणान्शूरसेनांश्च ॥ ९-१७ ॥
If Venus, who so reappears in the said maṇḍala, should be crossed by a planet, the chiefs of the hunters will perish; the Ikṣvākus, the border Mlecchas, the people of Avantī and of Pulinda and the Śūrasenas will also perish.
english translation
atrAkrAnte mRtyuH kirAtabhartuHpinaSTi caikSvAkUn । pratyantAvantipulindataGgaNAnzUrasenAMzca ॥ 9-17 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptज्येष्ठाआद्यं पञ्चऋक्षं क्षुत्तस्कररोगदं प्रबाधयते । काश्मीराश्मकमत्स्यान्सचारुदेवीनवन्तींश्च ॥ ९-१८ ॥
The five constellations from Jyeṣṭhā form the fifth maṇḍala; if Venus should reappear in it, the people of Cashmere ॥ i.e., Kāśmīra॥, the Aśmakas, the Matsyas, those living on the banks of the Charudevi ॥ i.e., Cārudevī॥ and in the country of Avantī will suffer from hunger, from thieves and from disease.

jyeSThAAdyaM paJcaRkSaM kSuttaskararogadaM prabAdhayate । kAzmIrAzmakamatsyAnsacArudevInavantIMzca ॥ 9-18 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअत्रारोहेद्द्रविडऽभीराम्बष्ठ त्रिगर्तसौराष्ट्रान् । नाशयन्ति सिन्धुसौवीरकांश्च काशिईश्वरस्य वधः ॥ ९-१९ ॥
If Venus who so reappears in the said maṇḍala should be crossed by a planet, the Ābhīras, the Draviḍas, the Ambaṣṭhas, the Trigartas, the Saurāṣṭras, the people of Sindh and of Sauvīraka and the ruler of Benares will perish.

atrAroheddraviDa'bhIrAmbaSTha trigartasaurASTrAn । nAzayanti sindhusauvIrakAMzca kAziIzvarasya vadhaH ॥ 9-19 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptषष्ठं षण्नक्षत्रं शुभं एतन्मण्डलं धनिष्ठाआद्यम् । भूरिधनगोकुलऽकुलं अनल्पधान्यं क्व चित्सभयम् ॥ ९-२० ॥
The six constellations from Dhaniṣṭhā form the sixth maṇḍala; if Venus should reappear in it there will be wealth and prosperity in the land and cows will thrive and crops will be abundant but fear in certain places.
english translation
SaSThaM SaNnakSatraM zubhaM etanmaNDalaM dhaniSThAAdyam । bhUridhanagokula'kulaM analpadhAnyaM kva citsabhayam ॥ 9-20 ॥
