भचतुष्टयं आर्द्राआद्यं द्वितीयं अमिताम्बुसस्यसम्पत्त्यै । विप्राणां अशुभकरं विशेषतः क्रूरचेष्टानाम् ॥ ९-१२ ॥

The four constellations from Ārdrā form the second maṇḍala or circle; if Venus should reappear in it, the rainfall will be moderate and the growth of food crops will also be moderate; the Brāhmins will suffer, especially those who are wicked.

bhacatuSTayaM ArdrAAdyaM dvitIyaM amitAmbusasyasampattyai । viprANAM azubhakaraM vizeSataH krUraceSTAnAm ॥ 9-12 ॥
