दुर्बलिको भाण्डीकः प्राच्यानां दक्षिणः प्रशस्तो असौ । धिक्कारो मृगजातिः कृकवाकुः कुक्कुटः प्रोक्तः ॥ ८८-०७ ॥
The Durbalaka and the Bhāṇḍīka are birds of one species. If these birds be found to pass on the right side, they indicate good luck to the people of the eastern countries. Cikkāra is a species of animal and Kṛkavāku and Kukkuṭa are fowls of the same species.
