दधितण्डुललाजानां लब्धिरुदग्दर्शनं च विप्रस्य । अर्थावाप्तिरनन्तरं उपगच्छति सार्थवाहश्च ॥ ८७-१४ ॥
If the omen be the cry of a creature in the 25th benefic quarter (north), there will be a gain of curdled milk, rice and fried gram and a meeting with Brāhmaṇas; and if in the 26th benefic quarter, there will be a gain of wealth and a meeting with the chief of a party of men.
