वर्षाणि कार्त्तिकऽदीन्याग्नेयाद्भद्वयानुयोगीनि । क्रमशस्त्रिभं तु पञ्चमं उपान्त्यं अन्त्यं च यद्वर्षम् ॥ ८-०२ ॥
These years beginning from Kārttika follow, each, two stars beginning from Kṛttikā; but the fifth, the eleventh and the twelfth years follow, each, three Nakṣatras.
