संक्षिप्तायां पुष्यः पुनर्वसुः फल्गुनीद्वयं चैति । तीक्ष्णायां भद्रपदाद्वयं सशाक्राश्वयुक्पौष्णम् ॥ ७-१० ॥

If Mercury should pass through the constellations of Puṣya, Punarvasu and the two Phālgunis, his course is known as Saṃkṣipta. If he should pass through the constellations of the two Bhādrapadas, of Viśākhā, of Aśvinī and of Revatī, his course is known as Tīkṣṇa.

saMkSiptAyAM puSyaH punarvasuH phalgunIdvayaM caiti । tIkSNAyAM bhadrapadAdvayaM sazAkrAzvayukpauSNam ॥ 7-10 ॥
