Brihat Samhita
पञ्चापरे वामनको जघन्यः कुब्जो अथ वा मण्डलको अथ साची । पूर्वौक्तभूपानुचरा भवन्ति सङ्कीर्णसंज्ञः शृणु लक्षणैस्तान् ॥ ६९-३१ ॥
There are five other classes of men who are the attendants of the five above-named monarchs (Mālavya and others) viz., Vāmanaka, Jaghanya, Kubja, Maṇḍalaka and Sācin. Now listen to the characteristics of these types that are known as the ‘Mixed ones’.
