दिशि याम्यायां कुर्यादधिवासनमण्डपं बुधः प्राग्वा । तोरणचतुष्टययुतं शस्तद्रुमपल्लवच्छन्नम् ॥ ६०-०१ ॥
Either on the northern or eastern part of the temple, the person learned in the matter shall erect a shed with archways on all sides and adorn it with plantains and festoons.
english translation
dizi yAmyAyAM kuryAdadhivAsanamaNDapaM budhaH prAgvA । toraNacatuSTayayutaM zastadrumapallavacchannam ॥ 60-01 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपूर्वे भागे चित्राः स्रजः पताकाश्च मण्डपस्यौक्ताः । आग्नेय्यां दिशि रक्ताः कृष्णाः स्युर्याम्यनैरृत्योः ॥ ६०-०२ ॥
In the eastern part of the mandapa there are painted garlands and banners They will be red in the southeast and dark in the north.

pUrve bhAge citrAH srajaH patAkAzca maNDapasyauktAH । AgneyyAM dizi raktAH kRSNAH syuryAmyanairRtyoH ॥ 60-02 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptश्वेता दिश्यपरस्यां वायव्यायां तु पाण्डुरा एव । चित्राश्चौत्तरपार्श्वे पीताः पूर्वोत्तरे कार्याः ॥ ६०-०३ ॥
They are white in the other direction and white in the northwest. The yellow ones on the north side should be painted on the northeast side

zvetA dizyaparasyAM vAyavyAyAM tu pANDurA eva । citrAzcauttarapArzve pItAH pUrvottare kAryAH ॥ 60-03 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआयुःश्रीबलजयदा दारुमयी मृण्मयी तथा प्रतिमा । लोकहिताय मणिमयी सौवर्णी पुष्टिदा भवति ॥ ६०-०४ ॥
Images made from wood or earth will give the master long life, wealth, strength and success. Images made of gems or precious stones will do good to the world at large. Images made of gold will give the master good health.
english translation
AyuHzrIbalajayadA dArumayI mRNmayI tathA pratimA । lokahitAya maNimayI sauvarNI puSTidA bhavati ॥ 60-04 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptरजतमयी कीर्तिकरी प्रजाविवृद्धिं करोति ताम्रमयी । भूलाभं तु महान्तं शैली प्रतिमाअथ वा लिङ्गम् ॥ ६०-०५ ॥
Images of silver will increase the master’s fame. Images of copper will increase his family. Images of stone or the Liṅga will bring him much lands.

rajatamayI kIrtikarI prajAvivRddhiM karoti tAmramayI । bhUlAbhaM tu mahAntaM zailI pratimAatha vA liGgam ॥ 60-05 ॥
