तरवो वर्जयितव्याः शुभदाः स्युः स्निग्धपत्रकुसुमफलाः । अभिमतवृक्षं गत्वा कुर्यात्पूजां सबलिपुष्पाम् ॥ ५९-०४ ॥
The trees that are of glossy leaves, flowers and fruits, are fit for the purpose; the tree selected shall be adorned with flowers and duly honoured.
