द्वारमानाष्टभागऊना प्रतिमा स्यात्सपिण्डिका । द्वौ भागौ प्रतिमा तत्र तृतीयांशश्च पिण्डिका ॥ ५६-१६ ॥

The height of the image of the Deva with its pedestal shall be 7/8th of the height of the entrance. The image shall be double the height of the pedestal.

मेरुमन्दरकैलासविमानच्छन्दनन्दनाः । समुद्गपद्मगरुडनन्दिवर्धनकुञ्जराः ॥ ५६-१७ ॥

The structures are shaped like mountains such as Meru, Mandara, and Kailāsa, and resemble celestial chariots, the Chandanandana grove, or lotus-bud caskets. They take the forms of lotuses, Garuḍas, the Nandivardhana style, and great elephants.

गुहराजो वृषो हंसः सर्वतोभद्रको घटः । सिंहो वृत्तश्चतुष्कोणः षोडशाष्टाश्रयस्तथा ॥ ५६-१८ ॥

The Guharāja, Vṛṣa, Haṃsa, Sarvatobhadraka, and Ghaṭa; the Siṃha, the circular (vṛtta), the quadrangular (catuṣkoṇa), as well as the sixteen-sided and eight-sided ॥ temple styles॥.

इत्येते विंशतिः प्रोक्ताः प्रासादाः संज्ञया मया । यथोक्तानुक्रमेणएव लक्षणानि वदाम्यतः ॥ ५६-१९ ॥

तत्र षडश्रिर्मेरुर्द्वादशभौमो विचित्रकुहरश्च । द्वारैर्युतश्चतुर्भिर्द्वात्रिंशद्धस्तविस्तीर्णः ॥ ५६-२० ॥

The building known as Meru consists of six sides, twelve storeys with numerous caves and with four entrance and shall be thirty-two cubits long.
