फलनाशे कुलत्थैश्च माषैर्मुद्गैस्तिलैर्यवैः । शृतशीतपयःसेकः फलपुष्पसमृद्धये ॥ ५५-१६ ॥

If the fruits are seen to die out, then heat a mixture of horse gram, black gram and Mudga (kidney bean), sesamum seeds and barley; after the mixture has fully cooled pour it at the roots. Then the trees will yield an increase of flowers and fruits.

अविकाअजशकृच्चूर्णस्यऽढके द्वे तिलऽढकम् । सक्तुप्रस्थो जलद्रोणो गोमांसतुलया सह ॥ ५५-१७ ॥

Two tablespoons of avika, goat’s milk powder and two tablespoons of sesame seeds. There was a pot of water mixed with cow’s milk.

सप्तरात्रौषितैरेतैः सेकः कार्यो वनस्पतेः । वल्मीगुल्मलतानां च फलपुष्पाय सर्वदा ॥ ५५-१८ ॥

These should be kept for seven nights and the plant should be soaked. It is always for the fruits and flowers of anthills, shrubs and creepers.

वासराणि दश दुग्धभावितं बीजं आज्ययुतहस्तयोजितम् । गोमयेन बहुशो विरूक्षितं क्रौडमार्गपिशितैश्च धूपितम् ॥ ५५-१९ ॥

The seeds were soaked in milk for ten days and mixed with a handful of ghee. It was often covered with cow dung and incensed with the meat of the crow’s feet.

मांस सूकरवसासमन्वितं रोपितं च परिकर्मितावनौ । क्षीरसंयुतजलावसेचितं जायते कुसुमयुक्तं एव तत् ॥ ५५-२० ॥

The meat was mixed with pig fat and planted in the gardens. It is irrigated with water mixed with milk and is covered with flowers.
