नीलो भुजगः पुरुषे मृत्पीता मरकतौपमश्चाश्मा । कृष्णा भूः प्रथमं वारुणी शिरा दक्षिणेनान्या ॥ ५४-४६ ॥

In digging, at the depth of a man, there will be a black snake; below it there will be a stone green as emerald; below it there will be black soil; below it there will be a current flowing westwards, and to the south of this current there will be another current.
