आवन्तिका जनपदाः कावेरीनर्मदातटऽश्रयिणः । दृप्ताश्च मनुजपतयः पीड्यन्ते क्षितिसुते ग्रस्ते ॥ ५-६४ ॥

If Mars should be eclipsed by Rāhu, the people of Āvanti, those living on the banks of the Kāverī and the Narmada and haughty princes will be afflicted with miseries.

english translation

AvantikA janapadAH kAverInarmadAtaTa'zrayiNaH । dRptAzca manujapatayaH pIDyante kSitisute graste ॥ 5-64 ॥
