Brihat Samhita
हरिते रोग उल्बणता सस्यानां ईतिभिश्च विध्वंसः । कपिले शीघ्रगसत्त्वम्लेच्छध्वंसो अथ दुर्भिक्षम् ॥ ५-५४ ॥
If the disc should appear yellow, there will be increase of disease in the land and crops will suffer. If the disc should appear of gold color, swift footed animals and the Mlecchas will suffer and there will be famine in the land.
