एवं उपरागकारणं उक्तं इदं दिव्यदृग्भिराचार्यैः । राहुरकारणं अस्मिन्नित्युक्तः शास्त्रसद्भावः ॥ ५-१३ ॥

Thus, the cause of eclipses has been explained in this manner by the learned teachers, the divine seers. In this doctrine, Rāhu is said not to be the actual cause—this is the true intent of the authoritative treatises.

evaM uparAgakAraNaM uktaM idaM divyadRgbhirAcAryaiH । rAhurakAraNaM asminnityuktaH zAstrasadbhAvaH ॥ 5-13 ॥
