मृदङ्गशङ्खध्वनिहृष्टकुञ्जरस्रवन्मदऽमोदसुगन्धमारुतः । शिरोमणि प्रान्त चलत्प्रभाचयैर्ज्वलन्विवस्वानिव तोयदात्यये ॥ ४४-२३ ॥
The sound of mṛdaṅgas and conchshells resounded with the fragrance of elephants. The edge of the mountain’s head was as bright as the sun’s rays at the end of the clouds.
