उपरिचरस्यामरपो वसोर्ददौ चेदिपस्य वेणुमयीम् । यष्टिं तां स नरेन्द्रो विधिवत्सम्पूजयां आस ॥ ४२-०८ ॥

Indra gave the Dhvaja, which was of bamboo wood, to Vasu, the ruler of the province of Cedi, who was gifted with the power of flight into celestial regions, and Vasu then performed pūjā to the Dhvaja.

english translation

uparicarasyAmarapo vasordadau cedipasya veNumayIm । yaSTiM tAM sa narendro vidhivatsampUjayAM Asa ॥ 42-08 ॥
