गान्धारसौवीरकसिन्धुकीरान्धान्यानि शैलान्द्रविडाधिपांश्च । द्विजांश्च मासान्दश शीतरश्मिः सन्तापयेद्वाक्पतिना विभिन्नः ॥ ४-२३ ॥

If Jupiter should be eclipsed by the lunar disc the men of Gāndhāra, of Sauvīraka, of Sindhu and of Kīra, (Kāśmīra) the rulers of the Draviḍa countries and Brāhmins as well as food grains and mountains will suffer for ten months.

gAndhArasauvIrakasindhukIrAndhAnyAni zailAndraviDAdhipAMzca । dvijAMzca mAsAndaza zItarazmiH santApayedvAkpatinA vibhinnaH ॥ 4-23 ॥
