उत्तरदिगादिपतिता विप्रादीनां अनिष्टदा रूक्षा । ऋज्वी स्निग्धाखण्डा नीचौपगता च तद्वृद्ध्यै ॥ ३३-१५ ॥

If the meteor should be of fearful appearance and if it should fall in the north, east, south or west, the Brāhmaṇas, the Kṣatriyas, the Vaiśyas and the Śūdras will suffer respectively.

english translation

uttaradigAdipatitA viprAdInAM aniSTadA rUkSA । RjvI snigdhAkhaNDA nIcaupagatA ca tadvRddhyai ॥ 33-15 ॥
