नीलोत्पलालिभिन्नाञ्जनत्विषो मधुरराविणो बहुलाः । तडिदुद्भासितदेहा धाराअङ्कुर वर्षिणो जलदाः ॥ ३२-२१ ॥
Clouds of the colour of the blue lotus, of the bee and of collyrium, sounding agreeably, in masses and attended by lightning, will yield sharp rain.

nIlotpalAlibhinnAJjanatviSo madhurarAviNo bahulAH । taDidudbhAsitadehA dhArAaGkura varSiNo jaladAH ॥ 32-21 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवारुणं अर्णवसरिदाश्रितघ्नं अतिवृष्टिदं विगतवैरम् । गोनर्दचेदिकुकुरान्किरातवैदेहकान्हन्ति ॥ ३२-२२ ॥
In a Varuṇa earthquake persons working at the sea or in rivers will perish; there will be excessive rain and rulers will cease to be hostile. The people of Gonarda, Cedi, Kukura, Kirāta and Videha, will suffer miseries.

vAruNaM arNavasaridAzritaghnaM ativRSTidaM vigatavairam । gonardacedikukurAnkirAtavaidehakAnhanti ॥ 32-22 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptषड्भिर्मासैः कम्पो द्वाभ्यां पाकं च याति निर्घातः । अन्यानप्युत्पातान्जगुरन्ये मण्डलैरेतैः ॥ ३२-२३ ॥
The effects assigned to earthquakes will occur within six months; those assigned to the other Utpātas will occcur within two months: these occurrences are classified by some under the heads of the four circles above referred to.

SaDbhirmAsaiH kampo dvAbhyAM pAkaM ca yAti nirghAtaH । anyAnapyutpAtAnjaguranye maNDalairetaiH ॥ 32-23 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउल्का हरिश्चन्द्रपुरं रजश्च निर्घातभूकम्पककुप्प्रदाहाः । वातो अतिचण्डो ग्रहणं रवीन्द्वोर्नक्षत्रतारागणवैकृतानि ॥ ३२-२४ ॥
Meteors, the appearance of 'Harishchandra-puram' (fata morgana/ghostly castles in the sky), dust storms, thunderbolts without clouds, earthquakes, and the glowing redness of the quarters (horizons); Extremely violent winds, eclipses of the Sun and the Moon, and unnatural alterations in the appearance of constellations and stars ॥ are all portents of coming change/distress॥.

ulkA harizcandrapuraM rajazca nirghAtabhUkampakakuppradAhAH । vAto aticaNDo grahaNaM ravIndvornakSatratArAgaNavaikRtAni ॥ 32-24 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptव्यभ्रे वृष्टिर्वैकृतं वातवृष्टिर्धूमो अनग्नेर्विस्फुलिङ्गार्चिषो वा । वन्यं सत्त्वं ग्राममध्ये विशेद्वा रात्रावैन्द्रं कार्मुकं दृश्यते वा ॥ ३२-२५ ॥
Rain falling from a cloudless sky, unnatural or freakish wind and rain, the appearance of smoke or sparks and flames where there is no fire; Wild animals entering the heart of a village (or town), or the appearance of a rainbow (Indra’s Bow) in the middle of the night ॥ are all ominous signs॥.

vyabhre vRSTirvaikRtaM vAtavRSTirdhUmo anagnervisphuliGgArciSo vA । vanyaM sattvaM grAmamadhye vizedvA rAtrAvaindraM kArmukaM dRzyate vA ॥ 32-25 ॥
